My Manuscript

I am currently seeking representation for my women’s fiction romance, MOVE FORWARD WITH ME.

Consumed with guilt and grief after the loss of her husband, a once-popular romance novelist finds unexpected healing and new complications when she falls for a widower and befriends his teen daughter, forcing all three to confront buried secrets that could threaten their chance at becoming a family.

A love after loss romance driven by a messy protagonist that will appeal to fans of Every Summer After by Carley Fortune, Grace & Henry’s Holiday Movie Marathon by Matthew Norman, and Promise Me Sunshine by Cara Bastone.

My Writing

My writing journey started when I was a child, but for a long time, I didn’t do much with my stories. After letting life get in the way for too long, I finally finished writing one of my ideas. Move Forward With Me emerged as a script, and with it, I was awarded a spot in Women in Film and Video’s Narrative Script Development Fellowship.

Then, I realized there was more to this story that I wanted to tell, and the novel was born. Move Forward With Me was recently selected for the SmoochPit 2025 Mentorship Program, which partners agented authors with aspiring BIPOC romance writers.

In the meantime, I continue working on a second manuscript—a rom-com. I'm not sure what comes next, but stay tuned!
